1. Main Shrine (Jogu)

Designated as a nationally important cultural property

The main shrine building of the shrine enshrines Emperor Ojin, Himegami and Empress Jingu.
Together with the Wakamiya (Gegu), it is designated as a national important cultural property, and various ceremonies are held here throughout the year.

2. Wakamiya (Gegu)

Designated as a nationally important cultural property

Emperor Nintoku who is a son of Emperor Ojin, Emperor Richu, Empress Nakatsuhime no Mikoto, and Empress Iwa no hime are enshrined in Wakamiya.

3. Maruyama Inari Shrine

Designated as a nationally important cultural property

The shrine building is surrounded by red flags dedicated by many people wishing for prosperity and good fortune. It is the oldest building in the shrine grounds, dating back to the Muromachi period. At the Hitaki-sai festival in November, a ritual called Kamakura Kagura is held here.

4. Maiden

It is also called Shimohaiden, and stands on the site of the Wakamiya corridor where Shizuka Gozen devoted herself to Yoshitsune and danced with all her heart. In addition to festivals and events at the shrine, many weddings are held here throughout the year.

5. Shirahata Shrine

Minamoto Yoritomo and Minamoto Sanetomo are enshrined here. The shrine hall, which is painted in black, is very impressive. The shrine is deeply respected for the divine virtues of the kami enshrined here and is used to pray for victory and academic achievement.

6. Ancestral Shrine

This shrine was erected in 1949 to enshrine the ancestral spirits of the worshippers of Tsurugaoka Hachimangu and the heroic spirit of that protect the land. Ceremonies are held twice a year, at the spring and autumnal equinoxes, when many people come to the shrine.

7. Hataage Benzaiten Shrine

It is located on an island in the Genji Pond, and the present shrine building was restored based on an old map from the Bunsei era (1980), 800 years after the founding of Tsurugaoka Hachimangu. Many people pray to the two-striped banner of the Genji clan for the raising of the flag of Yoritomo.

8. Imamiya

Reconstructed in 2021,this new building enshines three EmperorsGotoba,Tsuchimikado and Juntoku.
